As your caravan is a road vehicle, legally you need to keep it in a roadworthy condition.
By having your caravan serviced annually this helps to maintain it's road worthiness, this service covers the running gear, brakes and lights.
An annual service will cover the habitation side which includes checks and maintenance on the water, gas, electrical and heating systems. The dealership/Repair Shop should also check for any damp or leaks in the basic structure of your caravan.
It is recommended that your annual service is carried out by an approved workshop. You can find a list of these workshops on the National Caravan Council's (NCC) website.
